The role of EV portable charger electronic lock design?

Portable chargers charge electric vehicles through 220V mains power, and this charging method belongs to AC slow charging. The new energy vehicle slow charging system uses 220V single-phase AC power as the power supply, and converts AC power into high-voltage DC power for the power battery through the vehicle charger. The current path is 220V utility outlet - portable charger - vehicle AC charging port - vehicle charger - power battery.


The portable charger consists of charging connector, high-voltage charging cable, ICCB control box, and 220V three-phase plug.


Our charging connector is designed with electronic locking hole and mechanical locking button, which can prevent the charger from falling off when charging. When the mechanical lock button of the connector is pressed, the mechanical latch will be lifted, and after inserting the connector into place and releasing the mechanical lock button, the mechanical latch on the connector will snap into the mechanical lock slot of the charging port on the car to ensure that the charger will not fall off. When EV locks the car, it will activate the electronic lock on the charger, at which time the electronic lock controlled by the electromagnetic switch extends outward and inserts into the electronic lock hole, against the top of the mechanical latch, making it impossible for the mechanical latch to fall out of the mechanical lock slot, at which time the charging connector cannot be pulled out of the charging hole.


The existence of the electronic lock is still relatively important to prevent the charger from being maliciously pulled out during the charging process, but of course, the charger without the electronic lock design does not have this function.
